Easy 10-Minute Sourdough Discard Scallion Pancakes

These sourdough scallion pancakes are one of the easiest ways to use up your sourdough discard!

Here are the ingredients you'll need!

This is a very simple recipe. Adjust the ingredient quantities as needed based on the flavor of your sourdough discard.

Add ginger, salt, pepper, and sesame oil to your discard. Stir well, add more water if needed to get the consistency of thick pancake batter.

Heat oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Pour discard mixture directly into the skillet.

Top with thinly sliced scallions and sesame seeds.

Carefully flip the scallion pancake and cook a few minutes more.

Remove to a plate. Repeat with remaining discard.

Serve with soy sauce on the side for dipping.
