This easy no-knead cheddar jalapeño bread dough is perfect for beginners. No fancy shaping or kneading required!
Mix flour, salt, and instant yeast together in a medium mixing bowl.
Add cheddar cheese and jalapeño peppers. Stir well, then add water and mix until a sticky dough forms. Cover and let rise 12-18 hours.
The next day, turn the dough out onto a clean countertop. Stretch the edges across the middle to shape an oval or round loaf on a sheet of parchment paper.
Transfer the loaf to a preheated Dutch oven or cast iron bread pan and bake, covered, for 45 minutes.
Remove the lid and bake uncovered for 10-15 minutes more for the bread to take on a darker color.
