Chewy Chocolate Revel Bars

Chewy Chocolate Revel Bars

Bring a sheet pan of these chewy chocolate revel bars to any party and they're sure to be a hit!

This is a big batch recipe that makes 40+ oatmeal fudge cookie bars. Perfect for feeding a crowd!

Here are the ingredients you'll need to make these revel bars!

First, whisk together flour, rolled oats, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.

Cream together softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well and scraping down the bowl between each addition. Add the vanilla with the second egg.

Add the dry ingredients one cup at a time, mixing on low speed just until combined.

Melt together butter, salt, sweetened condensed milk, and chocolate chips in a small pot (bigger than this one!)

Stir in chopped walnuts and vanilla extract.

Press about two thirds of the oatmeal cookie dough into the bottom of a lightly greased sheet pan.

Spread with the chocolate fudge in an even layer.

Top with the remaining oatmeal cookie dough, torn into chunks.

Bake in 350°F oven for 25-30 minutes until lightly golden brown on top.

Once cool, cut the bars into diamond shapes. First, cut vertical lines about 1½ inches apart.

Then cut diagonal lines about 1½-2 inches apart.

Slide a thin spatula underneath to release the bars from the pan. Enjoy!
