Here are the ingredients you'll need to make this chocolate Oreo bundt cake!
Whisk black cocoa and unsweetened cocoa powder into warm milk. Stir into sour cream and set aside to cool.
Cream butter, brown sugar, and white sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, scraping down the bowl before and after adding each one.
Alternate adding the dry ingredients and the chocolate mixture on low speed until almost combined.
Finish mixing the batter by hand to avoid overmixing. This gives you a super soft and tender cake!
Grease the bundt pan well, then fill halfway with batter and smooth it out.
Add a layer of Oreo cookies to the middle of the cake, then cover with the remaining batter and smooth out the top.
Bake until done. Let cool 20 minutes in the pan, then invert onto a rack to cool completely.
Make the vanilla cream frosting by whisking together milk, melted butter, and vanilla bean paste.
Pipe the icing over the cooled cake, then top with chopped Oreo cookies.
(The icing should be a bit thicker than it is here.)
