Black Cocoa Crinkle Cookies

These dramatic crinkle cookies get their midnight black color from black cocoa powder! They're delicate and decadent, and so dang good!

Here are all the ingredients you will need to make these cookies!

Bloom black cocoa in boiling water and mix until a thick paste forms.

Add oil, egg, sugar, and vanilla paste all at once.

Whisk vigorously until smooth, shiny, and glossy.

Sift in the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.

Cover and chill in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight.

Roll each dough ball in granulated sugar, then in powdered sugar. This helps the cookies crinkle evenly.

Give the cookies plenty of room to spread out on a lined sheet pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350F.
