Small Batch Cinnamon Roll

This small batch cinnamon roll recipe uses minimal ingredients to make an epic single cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting!

Here are the ingredients you'll need!

Whisk together the dry ingredients, then whisk together the wet ingredients,

Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until a messy dough forms.

Knead the dough until it is soft and smooth, dusting with additional flour as needed.

Cover and let it rest somewhere warm for about an hour.

While the dough rises, make the cinnamon sugar filling by mixing together melted butter, brown and white sugar, cinnamon, allspice, and salt.

Roll the dough out into a rough rectangle shape about 1/8" thick.

Spread two thirds of the cinnamon sugar mixture onto the dough and roll it up into a log.

Flatten out the log, then spread the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top and roll it up into a big coil.

Place the cinnamon roll in a buttered baking dish. Cover and let rise 1 hour.

Then bake for 35-40 minutes at 350F.

While the cinnamon roll bakes, use a hand mixer to make the small batch cream cheese frosting.

Immediately after baking, brush the cinnamon roll with melted butter.

Spread with cream cheese frosting while still warm.
