Easy Roasted Asparagus with Garlic Soy Sauce

Easy Roasted Asparagus with Garlic Soy Sauce

This simple garlicky roasted asparagus is delicious on its own, but even better with a drizzle of garlic soy sauce!

The garlic soy sauce takes less than a minute to make and requires just two ingredients!

Here are the ingredients you'll need to make this easy side dish!

Trim the asparagus with a knife or by snapping the stalks near the base to remove the woody ends.

Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss with your hands to coat.

Smash a couple garlic cloves, but leave them in their papery skins. Add them to the sheet pan with the asparagus.

Roast asparagus at 425F  for 10-20 mins or until desired level of doneness is reached.

Remove the garlic cloves from their papery skins, mash one or two into the soy sauce, then drizzle it over the asparagus.

(Ignore the garlic cloves still on the sheet pan, they were extras I forgot to remove before filming!)

Serve immediately with any remaining smashed, roasted garlic cloves or garlic soy sauce on the side for dipping.
