These warm spiced chocolate chunk cookies are perfect for winter and a huge hit at parties!
Here are the ingredients you will need to make these cookies!
Whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cayenne. Set aside.
Cream together softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one after the other, beating for 60 seconds after adding each. Add the vanilla with the second egg.
Add the dry ingredients in batches, mixing on low speed just until combined.
Add hand chopped chocolate and mix in by hand.
Portion out the cookie dough and press chocolate chunks into the top of each dough ball. Cover and chill 2 hours or overnight.
Arrange on a lined baking sheet with plenty of room to spread out, then bake.
Top immediately with flaky salt and scoot into shape.
Let cool on the pan for about 5 minutes, then remove to a rack to finish cooling.
